These scenes are a faded image of memories, an unpredictable image of tomorrow, and a self-portrait of today.
Why is the word 'real' used negatively in modern times, and is accepted again? "Today," "The Way Home," "Right Now," that's the reality, and now going home can be a happy reality. Through the work, the artist wants to tell the story of the reality in which an entity that is bound to be incomplete forever lives nevertheless. It calmly observes the scenes of time that endure with hope and draws visitors into the space and time. The process of recreating the landscape through an understated and filtered initiative will be a kind of journey for the writer and a heart-wrenching landscape for someone living alone.
Jeong Yeon-ji (b.1984), who was selected for the 2013 Women Writer Wings Project contest, followed her father, a novelist, from place to place, and naturally encountered writing and painting. He majored in Oriental painting and pottery glass at Hongik University's College of Fine Arts, graduated from the Department of Oriental Painting at the Graduate School of General Studies, and is currently attending a Ph.D. course in Oriental Painting at the Graduate School. Starting with the group exhibition in 2010, the company has been actively engaged in works and exhibitions in Korea and China every year. It was selected for a project to support art creation activities hosted by the Seoul Cultural Foundation in 2015, and currently houses works at the Government Art Bank, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Suwon Cultural Foundation.
