LEESANG ART SPACE hosts Lee Soo-jung's solo exhibition #Time Freeze from Saturday, June 9, 2018 to Wednesday, June 27. A total of 10 works, including new experiments with media work, will be introduced in this exhibition. The exhibition, designed so that the artist's new and old works can all be seen together in one space with various artworks such as her flat paintings, three-dimensional paintings and installation works, advocates a romantic exhibition that brings out audience's memories and encourages reflection on these memories.
The artist will present his new figure painting through this solo exhibit, and through realistic depiction, he will refresh the beautiful memories that each person possesses and convey the inner psychology that remains. It will be an exhibition in which the audience will become the main subject by determining what you is your time that you'd want to leave behind at this moment.
Lee Soo-jung (b.1982), a talented female artist who is actively working in Wonju, Gangwon Province, was selected as one of the final two artists at the 2010 Korea Artist's Exhibition, and won the Excellence Award at the Gangwon Art Exhibition in 2016. During the exhibition, a special performance by Iris Kim, known as an interdisciplinary artist, will be held at the exhibition hall on Saturday, June 16, at 1 p.m.
