<Topaz : True friendship>展

From November 2018 to October 2019, LEESANG ART Co. will host a series of "strange exhibitions". These exhibitions are held every month under the theme of that month's birthstone. LEESANG ART Co. wants to offer modern people gem-like art and gem-like time through an exhibition of artists who polish themselves to become gems that produce special light. 

It is difficult for an artist to silently walk alone on the path of art and the lonely and difficult environment of the art market. However, artists who do not give up in difficult situations and quietly walk their own paths shine beautifully and brilliantly like stars in the dark night sky. In line with this, LEESANG ART SPACE will hold a special exhibition every month with the meaning of "artists shining like gemstones," and the artists will interpret the meaning of the birthstones each month in line with their artworks.

Through this exhibition, LEESANG ART SPACE aims to form a network among its artists, so that they can exchange diverse opinions on exhibitions and art activities, support each other's paths and grow. Entering the cold of winter, the exhibition is based on the concept of hope to show how the artists shine brightly despite the difficult environment. The exhibition sets up a space for visitors to interact with and understand art with the aim of being an exhibition with special meanings conveyed by the artists.

The exhibition, which will start with the birthstone of the first November, will be "Topaz: True Friendship" by writers Tak Yoon-jae, Kim Jin-hwa, Cho Eun-hwan and Kim Joo-ryeong from November 20 (Tue) to November 29 (Thursday).

This exhibition is about true friendship and consists of the meeting of four artists who portray the clear and beautiful image of Topaz. The exhibition will showcase works that reflect their respective interpretations based on inspiration from Topaz, which has the meaning of eternal friendship, including abstract paintings by the 

이상아트는 2018년 11월부터 2019년 10월까지 릴레이로 <이상(理想)한 전시>展을 개최한다.

릴레이 전시는 매달 탄생석이 지닌 의미를 주제로 진행될 예정이다. 이상아트는 보석이 되기 위해 자신을 갈고닦아 특별한 빛을 내는 작가들의 전시를 통해 현대인들에게 보석 같은 작품, 보석 같은 시간을 선사하고자 한다.

작가가 혼자서 외롭고 활동하기 어려운 미술 시장의 환경 속에서도 묵묵히 미술의 길을 걸어 나가는 것은 힘든 일이다. 하지만 여러 어려운 상황에서도 포기하지 않고 묵묵히 자신의 길을 걸어가는 작가들은 마치 어두운 밤하늘의 별처럼 아름답고 영롱하게 반짝인다. 이에 발맞추어 이상아트스페이스는 ‘보석처럼 빛나는 작가’라는 의미를 부여하여 매달 특별한 전시를 진행하며 작가들은 각 달마다 가진 탄생석의 의미를 작업 이미지에 부합시켜 진행한다.

이상아트스페이스는 이번 전시를 통해서 소속 작가 간 네트워크를 형성하고 전시와 미술 활동에 대한 다양한 의견을 주고받으며 서로의 길을 지원하고 성장하는데 활동의 목적을 둔다. 시린 겨울로 접어드는 지금, 힘든 환경 속에서도 찬란히 빛나는 작가들의 모습을 보이며 희망을 지닌 콘셉트를 기반으로 전시를 기획하는 동시에 작가가 전하는 특별한 의미를 지닌 이색적인 전시를 목표로 하여 관람객에게 미술과 교감하고 사유할 수 있는 장을 마련한다.

첫번째 11월의 탄생석으로 스타트를 끊게 될 전시는 11월 20일(화)부터 11월 29일(목)까지 작가 탁윤재, 김진화, 조은환, 김주령의 그룹전 <Topaz : True friendship>展이다.

이번 전시는 진정한 우정에 관한 이야기를 다루었으며 Topaz가 가진 맑고 아름다운 이미지를 그려 내는 네 작가의 만남으로 이루어진다. 전시에서는 네 작가의 추상 회화를 비롯한 혼합 미디어 작품 등 영원한 우정의 의미를 지닌 토파즈에서 얻은 영감을 기반으로 각자의 해석을 반영한 작품들을 선보인다.
