국립광주과학관 겨울방학 특별전 ‘돌아온 공룡’ 개막

국립광주과학관(관장 김선아)이 다가오는 겨울방학을 맞아 공룡과 생명과학기술 주제의 특별전 ‘돌아온 공룡’을 개최한다.
오는 20일부터 내년 3월 1일까지 국립광주과학관 기획전시실에서 개최하는 공룡 특별전은 지구 46억 년의 드라마를 시작으로 거대한 공룡화석과 움직이는 공룡, 고고학자가 되어 체험해 보는 공룡화석 발굴체험, 3D로 만드는 나만의 공룡, 가상현실(VR)/증강현실(AR)로 만나는 공룡 등 최신 과학기술을 이용한 실감있는 체험을 할 수 있다.
아울러 21일 오후 2시부터 국립광주과학관 상상홀에서는 공룡 특별전과 연계한 필 사이언스 강연으로 공룡박사가 들려주는 공룡이야기’를 개최한다. 공룡박사로 잘 알려진 이정모 국립과천과학관장을 초청 하여 공룡에 대한 흥미로운 이야기를 나누는 시간을 갖는다.
공룡 특별전은 안면도쥬라기박물관, 해남공룡박물관, 서대문자연사박물관, 목포자연사박물관, 국립대구과학관, 인천학생과학관, 전남대학교, YTN사이언스의 협력으로 보다 풍성한 볼거리, 체험거리가 기다린다.
평일 2회(11:30, 13:30), 주말 4회(11:30, 13:30, 15:30, 16:30) 전시해설을 제공한다. 특별전과 관련한 보다 자세한 사항은 국립광주과학관 누리집(www.sciencecenter.or.kr)에서 확인할 수 있다.
Gwangju National Science Museum's Special Winter Break Exhibition "The Return of the Dinosaurs" is open from November 20, 2020 to March 1, 2021 in the museum's exhibition hall. This exhibition explores the subject of dinosaurs, bioscience and technology.
On November 21st, visiting lecturer, Lee Jeong-mo, the Director of the National Gwacheon Science Museum, will deliver a special talk "The Dinosaur's story as told by a Dinosaur Scholar"
Gwangju National Science Museum (Director Kim Sun-ah) is holding a special exhibition called “The Return of Dinosaurs” on the subject of dinosaurs and bioscience technology for this year's winter break.
This special exhibition, which will be held in the special exhibition room on the first floor of the National Gwangju Science Museum, from November 20, 2020 to March 1, 2021, begins with a story of earth's 4.6 billion years, along with enormous dinosaur fossils, life-like animatronic dinosaurs, and a dinosaur fossil excavation experience. You can experience the latest science technology through various activities such as Create Your Own 3D Dinosaur and Encountering Dinosaurs through virtual reality (VR)/augmented reality (AR).
In addition, Gwangju National Science Museum will host a special lecture on the 21st of November at 2pm titled "The Dinosaur's story as told by a Dinosaur Scholar." Lee Jeong-mo, who is well known as a scholar of dinosaurs, was invited by the Director of the National Gwacheon Science Museum to share interesting stories about dinosaurs through this lecture.
For the Dinosaur Special Exhibition, various institutions participated make the exhibition's rich experiences and attractions a reality, including Anmyeondo Jurassic Museum, Haenam Dinosaur Museum, Seodaemun Museum of Natural History, Mokpo Natural History Museum, Daegu National Science Museum, Incheon Student Science Museum, Chonnam National University, and YTN Science.
