The exhibition planning agency LEESANG ART Co. (Director Lee Sang-mi) operated the special “COLD” exhibition, an invitational exhibition designed and produced by the Universcience Science Museum in France that was held from July 23rd to November 3rd in the Kim Jin Jae Hall on the 1st floor of the National Busan Science Museum.
COLD is an experiential exhibition that allows you to think about 'COLD (cold, low temperature)' which we naturally encounter in various ways such as through living organisms, everyday life, science, technological developments, industry and the future. All aspects of the exhibition were planned and implemented by LEESANG ART Co., from the installation of the exhibition contents to the designing of the exhibition space, construction of the experience zone, design work, etc.
This special exhibition is organized into four parts: △ Cold and Life △ Cold and Society △ Science’s Challenge to Cold △ Cold Lab.
The COLD experience zone has been set up with a cold-lab demonstration program that performs various low-temperature experiments, and a photo zone with an installation by the artist Kim Jin-woo, a large “Mammoth” (2019) in a glacier.
전시기획사 이상아트(관장 이상미)가 국립부산과학관 1층 김진재홀에서 7월 23일부터 11월 3일까지 열리는 프랑스 유니베르시앙스 과학관 초청 전시인 특별기획 ‘COLD展’을 운영했습니다.
COLD전은 우리가 쉽게 접할 수 있는 ‘COLD(추위, 저온)’에 대해, 생명체와 일상생활, 과학과 기술발달, 산업과 미래 등 다양한 방면으로 생각할 수 있게 하는 체험 전시입니다. 이상아트는 COLD전의 전시품 설치부터 공간 연출, 체험존 구성, 디자인 작업 등을 모두 진행했습니다.
이번 특별전시는 △추위와 생명체 △추위와 사회 △추위에 대한 과학의 도전 △COLD랩 등 네 가지로 구성됐습니다.
COLD 체험 존은 다양한 저온실험을 해보는 시연프로그램 콜드랩(Cold-Lab)과 설치미술가인 김진우 작가의 빙하 속 대형 ‘매머드’(2019년) 작품과 함께하는 포토존 등이 마련됐습니다.
